Mumbler has a strong start to 2023, with a hat-trick of Awards nominations!

Well, it’s only half way through January and already 2023 is looking great for Mumbler! Not only have we totted up a record 3,050,000 website visitor during 2022- yes, over 3 MILLION parents & carers used Mumbler last year, but we have made the finals for not one, not two but THREE different business awards already this year!

What’s more, each award is for a completely different aspect of the business and we couldn’t be prouder!

Firstly we received the news that we’d reached the shortlist for the FSB Yorkshire & Humber Community Award. This is an award for businesses who partake in initiatives that support their local community or makes a positive impact through employee led activities. Businesses that have been either set up to support the community through their activities or for businesses who help support the community through donations, resources or other activities.

Community is at the core of everything we do at Mumbler so we are truly delighted to be a finalist in this category. Winners will be announced on 25th February 2023.

Then we heard that we’d been shortlisted for two separate Stray Ferret Business Awards!

Best Digital Marketing Campaign (A campaign which was successfully run purely on digital channels) – Mumbler were shortlisted for our recent campaign for Cry Babies Dolls.

It’s a thrill to be recognised for this campaign as it ticked so many boxes for Mumbler; it’s a great product, one that the team really embraced & we tested out on our own mini Mumblers and the campaign landed at the perfect time (October to December) allowing us to help make life easier for parents when thinking about Christmas presents.

Finally, a key member of Mumbler staff, Kayti Mewis was shortlisted for the Stray Ferret Unsung Hero Award.  Kayti is the right hand woman to Mumbler founder Sally and does so many jobs within the Mumbler team that it would almost be impossible to list them all! Kayti joined the Harrogate Mumbler team in 2018 as a volunteer. She had moved to Harrogate (from London) earlier that year with her young daughter and husband and in her own words “Harrogate Mumbler has been a real lifeline for me since we moved here earlier this year, so I know first-hand of its value to the local community.”

Sally Haslewood said “Kayti is an absolute joy to work with. She has an infectious bubbly personality,  she immediately puts you at ease and is quite possibly the friendliest person that I know”

The Stray Ferret Award winners will be announced on Thursday 9th March 2023.

Wish us luck! 🤞🏼
